Whether you are new to USAID funding or have years of program experience, this highly participatory workshop will show you how to apply the regulations to benefit your project, staff and organization.
Our expert facilitators take you step by step through the regulations and show you how to interpret key concepts in the administrative requirements, cost principles, and standard provisions. You will return to your project able to find answers to questions about your award – from “are laptops allowable” to “does my international trip need prior approval” to “how do I dispose of a vehicle?” In addition to maintaining donor compliance, you’ll also learn how to build strong working relationships with USAID and develop policies for successful management of your grant or cooperative agreement.
This online workshop runs over 5 days using a combination of live webinars, videos and discussions. You are required to log-in at set times with the following schedule for live webinars, each lasting approximately 90 minutes.
By the end of this workshop, learners will be able to:
- Navigate up-to-date USAID rules and regulations with the confidence to find answers, solve common issues and manage audit findings
- Confidently collaborate and negotiate with key USAID staff, including the AO/AOR
- Know why, how and when to submit prior approvals, waivers and extensions – and understand how to use them to save time and money
- Understand how your organization’s policies and procedures are critical to effective project implementation – and how to make them more efficient
