This programme has been accredited by NCFE, a UK based awarding body as meeting the requirements of Level 2 standard of training. The programme is delivered at the Trident Manor Training Academy in the North-East of England by our RoSPA qualified instructors who have years of experience in delivering driving programmes to governmental, Non-governmental, humanitarian, and corporate organisations nationally and internationally.
The programme is a blend of theory (30%) and practical (70%) applications and teaches the delegates the necessary skills to drive defensively so that hazards are proactively identified and avoided. The delegates are taught the correct system of driving and introduced to the human risk elements that exist and how they can be avoided through proactive situational awareness.
The benefits of attending this programme are that the risk of being involved in a road traffic accident is greatly reduced, the driver will have an increased level of awareness of their driving capabilities, they will be able to proactively identify and manage hazards, and costs of repairs/wear and tear are greatly reduced. In achieving this the organisation minimises operational disruption and helps ensure their duty of care responsibilities are being met.
This programme is suitable for any organisation sending staff on international deployments, who have a large driving fleet, or who want to meet the requirements of the UN Road Traffic Strategy. While delivered in the UK this programme can also be delivered globally.
