QNUK Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work with the Management of Catastrophic Bleeding

The training course will be focused on the practical elements of Basic Life Support (CPR & AED), Wilderness illness and injury conditions, Wound Management, dealing with Catastrophic bleeding and Management of Shock.

This training will identify Security Focal Points and Managers' protocols to effectively assess existing First Aid and Medical infrastructure, including Policies and Procedures, equipment, and access to medical support for all staff. The course will be primarily practical delivery allowing the staff to fully understand and become competent in the techniques required to assist a casualty and potentially save lives.

Learners are assessed for this qualification through:

Multiple-Choice Question Paper

• The MCQ paper will be taken under examination condition Duration 30 minutes
• Pass mark 70% (11/15)

Practical Observation

• There are several practical observations. Assessors can use holistic assessment when assessing scenarios.
• Pass mark 100%
