Fisheries play a vital role in economies and contributes to food security and nutrition, but fish stocks are under threat globally due to ineffective management and poor conservation. Strengthened governance in the fisheries sector with involvement of the public, civil society and private sector is required to reduce pressure on the fish stocks and the aquatic habitat. In this course, you will gain insights and skills in governance processes involving stakeholders.
