Organization: Geneva Centre for Security Policy
Start date: 11 Feb 2021
End date: 25 Feb 2021
Registration deadline: 10 Feb 2021

Decisions you make today will determine your legacy for years to come.

The decisions you make now and how you implement them, will set both, a path and pace towards recovery and transformation or the decline of your organisation. Perhaps also of your role as a leader in it.

In these unprecedented times, your judgement needs to be sharp. Your execution must be resilient. Accuracy in both, assessing risks and calibrating collective responses, will have crucial and long-standing impact.

We are experiencing large-scale disruption. We all urgently need to effectively link shorter-term priorities with longer-term strategy and impact. How can you strengthen your team or organisation’s impact and mission, and ensure measured risk-taking?

We invite you to join an experienced circle of peers and skilled facilitators to sharpen your strategic thinking, judgement, priority setting, and execution excellence.

Together, we will:

  • Gain from the experience, creativity and expertise of each other
  • Assess, challenge and support our respective leadership
  • Give and receive valued insights and creative energy in a safe, experimental journey
  • Explore and share tools

The Geneva Leadership Alliance (GLA) approach revitalizes energy, creativity and clarity. You will leave with new valued resources, insights, and connections. Participants in GLA events gain confidence and leave equipped to ensure the relevance and increased impact of their organisations and mission.

The programme is designed and run by the GLA leveraging in-depth expertise on peace, security and policy issues through the GCSP, as well as 40+ years of experience in developing leaders across all sectors through the Center for Creative Leadership.

Outcomes

  • Clarity on your immediate pressures and the path you are setting
  • Sharpened strategic thinking and action
  • Increased learning agility, in real-time, tested in a safe environment
  • Valuable feedforward from credible and diverse peers on your assessments, judgements and actions, and an opportunity to contribute your views for others

Crucially, you will leave with an enriched and trusted community of peers to whom you can turn in similar challenges.

Together, we will find our unique paths towards recovery, avoiding short-term reactionary responses leading to decline, and restoring, rejuvenating and transforming ourselves, our teams and our organisations.
