In this course we explore the use of the ActivityInfo platform in Monitoring and Evaluation and how you can streamline data collection and reporting in your existing M&E system using the software. We will talk about the connection between a Logical Framework or a Results Framework, a data collection plan and an information system and we will walk you through a process for translating a Logical Framework into ActivityInfo data forms and reports.
By following this course in just 4 days, you will be able to:
- Understand the relationship between a Logical Framework/Results Framework and an information management system
- Learn how to translate a Logical Framework into a data collection plan, and then an information management system
- Learn to set up an information system in ActivityInfo for indicators originating from surveys, internal reporting, and external sources
- Master user management to control users’ access
- Build reports that demonstrate progress on key indicators, and share with stakeholders at all levels
- Publish public-facing dashboards on your programme’s results
You will also learn how to use ActivityInfo’s features for:
- Output tracking
- Progress monitoring
- Beneficiary registration
- Impact Surveys
- Collecting indicators from external systems or parties
And how to link these data automatically to the indicators and targets in your logframe for reporting.
